Description
  Copies a curve so that all locations of the copied curve are specified distances from the original curve.

Steps
  1. Download this file and open it in Rhinoceros 7®.
2. Run the command 'Variable Offset'.
3. Set the options as intended.
4. Select the red curve as the 'Curve to Offset'.
5. Select the green objects as the 'Surfaces for Directions'.
6. Add and edit the handles as necessary.

Command options
  SetAll: Sets all distances to the same value.
AddHandle: Adds an adjustment handle.
RemoveHandle: Removes an adjustment handle.
ControlPoints: Number of control points for normals against the selected objects.
Properties: If is set to 'Input', the result object(s) will have the same properties of the selected object.

Notes
  - This command supports Mesh, Surface, Polysurface and SubD objects.
- For optimal results use Periodic NURBS curves (SubD friendly).
- Offset distances supports positive and negative values.
- Both planar and 3D curves are supported as curves.
- The direction for planar curves is set by the curve plane.
- The direction for non-planar curves is set by the selected objects or by the active CPlane.
- The option 'RemoveHandle' is only available if there are 3 or more handles.
- The option 'ControlPoints' is only available if 3D objects are selected.
