Orients the rotation, swing and tilt of a given bottom curve.
Steps
1. Download this file and open it in Rhinoceros 7®.
2. Run the command 'Orient by Bottom'.
3. Set the options as intended.
4. Select the red curve as the 'Bottom Curve'.
5. Select the green objects as the 'Objects to Orient'.
Command options
AxisType: Set the type of axis for the orientation; HeelAxis, OpticalAxis or MiddleAxis OrientAxis: Set the bottom curve XY axis orientation; X or Y
Notes
- This command is available in scripting and interactive mode.
- Both planar and non-planar curves are supported as 'Bottom Curve'.
- For optimal results use Periodic NURBS curves (SubD friendly).
